Mammas Antenatal
'Mammas Antenatal' by Leicester Mammas is a rolling programme of four sessions which you can join at any time. We cover how to care for yourself during pregnancy, feeding your new baby, getting breastfeeding off to a good start, and relaxation / breathing for birth.
The sessions are delivered on Zoom on Thursdays from 1.00pm - 3.00pm and the start dates are:
2 December, 6 January, 3 February, 3 March, 31 March

Wellbeing in Pregnancy for Young Parents-to-be
Antenatal group for young parents-to-be aged 25 and under who live in Leicester City
Over the four sessions we cover everything that pregnant parents want to know about to have a healthy pregnancy, both physically and emotionally. We will look at ideas for eating well and keeping active as well as ways to cope with worry, stress and anxiety during pregnancy and how to bond with your baby.
You are welcome to bring along someone who will be supporting you during your pregnancy or when your baby is born.

Relax, Breathe, & Birth
'Relax, Breathe, & Birth' is a 4-session hypnobirthing course based on the Wise Hippo birthing programme by Leicester Mammas that prepares women and their partners for the birth of their baby.
Understanding how the mind and body are connected is key to ensuring both work together in the best possible way. You will learn relaxation techniques to practice during pregnancy, birth and labour and birth partners will learn how to support you at each stage. The course covers practical preparations and much more. The guidance from our qualified teachers will help you to stay calm and in control as you birth your baby.

I've come to the understanding that birth is a natural experience and what is on TV is over dramatised. Even if I have a medical experience it doesn't mean I have failed. It's mind over matter. That has helped me the most.
The breathing technique and riding the wave was a godsend.
My husband and I felt so empowered in owning our own labour journey.
